Trying to understand the "Players" and how they wo

With the players what is the best way to set this up .. Meaning ..

That I have noticed that each time a person logins they have a player?

But I noticed that depended on what settings i pick I can also listen to songs From my ipad and iphone When picking the external Player option ..

What would be a way to Set the server to Have two options only for each user ...

one that works on idevices in the browser and one that works from a computer browser.

I want the users to have two choices to pick from Like I do when i log in from my admin account..
