AC3 and DTS Transcoding options wanted

I was curious to know if anyone had setup any .AC3 or .DTS > mp3 transcoding options. If so, would you mind posting them?

Does Subsonic even support DTS? I just added a DTS album to my collection, and it doesn't show in Subsonic at all.

Lame doesn't have native DTS support to transcode the source audio. something like azidts looks to be the only CLI utility out there, but that just does DTS to to stereo. Personally, I think video is outside of the scope of what Subsonic should be at the moment, but for good video streaming we definately need the ability to transcode .AC3 & .DTS audio tracks.

Maybe I'm just missing something, but I have many movies encoded with only DTS audio, and I get audio playback without a problem.
