Port Fowarding Issuses

Ok here goes...

I'm using Windows 7 and a Belkin N 150 router. I can access Subsonic locally but not remotely. I have assigned a static address on my router and forwarded many different port numbers with no success. Every time i use a port checker tool, it's unsucsessfull because of a connection time out. I've set my router up exactly as explained on Port Forward.com, changing their port numbers from 80 to 8080 and many other different numbers. I've also tried to let subsonic set up my router with no avail. I've disabled the firewalls on Norton and Windows.... I tried troubleshooting my windows network and got an error message about using 2 NATs. I have no idea what this means or if its my problem. Another thing is that i have been streaming music to my android from my pc using orb sucsessfully for months. I have no idea what port i'm using for orb and can't remember how i set it up. I'd really like to get this working as it seems a better product than orb. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have VOIP, such as Vonage or Ooma?

What is between your Gateway device (modem) and your PC that hosts Subsonic?

I have vonage.

The Vonage device is causing the problem. I used Vonage for several years and it worked fine having it plugged into an open port on the router rather than between the modem and the router as they suggest. Plug the modem into the WAN port on your router and plug the Vonage device into an open port on the router or a switch on your network.

It's absoulutly sick how quickly you fixed that problem. I've been searching all over the internet trying to fix this issue. Thanks so much for your help.
