Problems with Playlists

Postby gateets » Fri Apr 22, 2011 2:28 am

I created an m3u playlist in WMP. When I try to play it using SS, it shows 'No music found', but it works fine in WMP. Does anyone know how I can make it work?

Put the list in the right directory?

Checked that; I'm using the correct directory. I confirmed it by creating a playlist in SS; it showed up in the same directory as the WMP playlist, in m3u format, and is, interestingly, working whereas the WMP playlist is not.

OK, more info:

I have identified the problem; what I need now is to know if there is a solution.
The problem is that the WMP playlist is showing the mp3 file path relative to the m3u file path (..\My Music\Artist Name\Album Name\etc.). The Subsonic playlist shows an absolute file path (D:\My Music\etc). So does anyone know if there is a way to make WMP store the file path as an absolute, rather than a relative, path.
