SubSonic servers down?

Postby tttdawg » Sat Apr 23, 2011 10:37 pm

I've been trying to connect to my subsonic server for a few hours now and its not working.

To make sure it wasn't just my phone, I tried my girlfriends subsonic and it to timed out.

Anyone else having issues?

Can you reach my logon page?

Go to http://www.canyouseeme.org/ enter your SS port number and click the Check box to be sure the Subsonic port is open.

yes =>

Code: Select all
Success: I can see your service on 95.157.xxx.xxx on port (4040)
Your ISP is not blocking port 4040

edit : I stop subsonic service and run it =>

here is the subsonic.log :

Code: Select all

Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to 98.216.67.232:4040
Suggestions:
Try reloading: 98.216.67.232:4040

If this is your correct IP and port number the failure is not related to the Subsonic server.

I am unable to reach mine either (piercedtiger.subsonic.org) for over a week now. Nothing has changed on my router, and it's been working fine for over a year. Today I upgraded to 4.4 in an attempt to get things working again, but that didn't help.

Even trying to access via IP address didn't help.

Awesome. Thanks. Figured it out. Port 80 was not open because my PC apparently changed IPs and the port forwarding was messed up. TCP port 80 was going to the new IP, UDP port 80 going to the old IP. Once I changed UDP to the new IP I was able to get to subsonic from outside my home network.

Kind of odd though that my desktop PC has had this particular IP for a while, and subsonic worked.... Oh well. :D
