Would not deleting the subsonic database also delete all users and user settings too? If so then deleting the database is a very bad solution for many people.
Isn't there a way for a person with full administrator access to the machine that Subsonic is running on to reset only the Subsonic administrator password?
If deleting the database is the only alternative, what sort of things will be deleted?
- All user accounts?
- Album user rating?
- Album Comments?
- Play counts?
- Most played albums list?
- Last played album list?
If so, there should had been a way to let Subsonic reset the password in case it was forgotten. But since a user account do not contain the users email address, there is no way to send a reset-password-email to the users.
Have anyone some info on how you could alter the subsonic database to set a new administrator password if the old one have been forgotten?
