Ubuntu 11.04 and SubSonic :(

hi every one,

Is there a solution to get subsonic to work withn Ubuntu 11.04?
when ive upgradet the trouble started.

when i try to access my Subsonic it says

HTTP ERROR: 404

NOT_FOUND
RequestURI=/index.view

Powered by Jetty://

ive tried a clean install of subsonic, same bug
and it commes up with an error.

and when i try the standalone version, same thing AGAIN :(

It's the middle of the day. Some of the members are working. Linux isn't my specialty or I'd be glad to help you. Be patient, I'm sure one of the Linux guys will give you help once they log in.

I'm pretty now to Ubuntu, but I managed to install everything without any issues...

You did install the openjdk-6-jre, and after that the debian package of Subsonic?
VMWare ESXi 5.5 > Ubuntu 16.04 > Subsonic 6.0 (Modded with PHP based registration feature)

I upgraded my 10.10 to 11.04 yesterday, no problems at all. Using Tomcat6, though...

I'm also running 11.04 with Subsonic 4.4. Had some issues with portforwarding which another forum member assisted with. Other than that I'm now up and running. I should point out that this was a fresh install and not an upgrade of Ubuntu with Subsonic already running.
