Any thoughts on this? I've seen comments scattered all around the forums, but haven't found an "official answer" yet.

Here is my scenario:
* Server connected to living room amp. My wife can use her iPhone / I can use my Android phone as wireless remotes. Quality is essential here, so I want a good audio card playing directly from the server.
* On any other room, we would dock our phones or plug in headphones and stream. We can make do with the phone's audio device.
* ...or stream to our laptops around the house.

For #1 to work we need to be able to control the jukebox from our phones. I know you only control the Android dev side. iSub says this is "coming soon". (hint hint for z-subsonic).

iSub just released:

- Jukebox control -- enable from the Home tab and control your Subsonic server instead of streaming the songs to your phone

Yeh this has been "coming" for a year now, any ETA?

I twould REALLY be a game changer for be as I would be able to get rid of MPD which is a bit of a nightmare in reliability terms. I would then have the pefect setup

PLEASE can we get this soon?

What a pity, I thought it was possible to create a new user with Jukebox access rights and set the users player in Jukebox mode, but no sound in my stereo. However, it's possible to browse to my server and play in Jukbox mode.
