Android Client Problem

I just released version 2.8.1 to Android Market.

Upgraded to 2.8.1. Changed the server address to HTTP://xx.xx.xx.xx.

This seems to have resolved the playback issue that I was having. However the file filtering that should kick in when selecting a folder does not seem to be working still. Strangely there is no error message on the server log when the filtering fails to work.

Changing the server address back to HTTPS://xx.xx.xx.xx in 2.8.1 resolves this filtering issue though. Also files stream and playback successfully.

Try to do

Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Subsonic > Clear cache

and see if that helps on the filtering.

Cleared the Subsonic cache on the phone. Changed the server address back to HTTP://xx.xx.xx.xx

That appears to have sorted out the filtering issue. Playback still works as well as the Albums selections (Recently added, Top rated etc..).
