Subsonic.org "wrong username or password."

Postby dino9832 » Mon Jun 20, 2011 8:55 pm

It used to work.
I can access using 127.0.0.1:4040
I can access it using ###.###.###.###:4040
The network settings reply that "dino.subsonic.org" replied successfully.
I've donated and entered the key.
Checked the box to create the web address and it's reported as created.

But, every time I try to log into dino.subsonic.org it says "Wrong username or password.:

I'm using subsonic ver. 2.4 on osx.

Try stopping the service, then restarting it. Report back. :)

I can log in from computer to computer using the server computer's IP address.

The problem is logging in with my "dino.subsonic.org" domain doesn't work.

Thanks for the info though.

Try creating a new user and password and testing it.

Also, I'm seeing dino.subsonic.org at http://94.255.163.226/login.view if that doesn't match your ip address then someone else is already using that name.

Success! Thanks to GJ51. That was not my ip. I tried "dean" and "dino" and always got: Status: xxx.subsonic.org responded successfully.

It responded, but was NOT my ip. The names were already taken. I used dino9832 and everything seems to work just fine.

Thanks guys for all your help.
