Android App version 2.8.1 on HTC Desire playback problems.

I expect this problem has been addressed already but after searching 19 pages of the forum i couldn't find anything.

I'm running the Android Subsonic app (version 2.8.1) on my HTC desire.

When playing songs via my WiFi network, randomly playback will stop. Some songs i can play all the way through, some stop halfway through, some stop after a few seconds, and some nearly get to the end then stop. It seems to be the same songs each time, for example one song stops at 10 seconds every time.

At first i thought it was the file but all the songs play fine on the web browser on my computer and on my laptop through the web browser.

In my apps settings iv told it not to limit anything, and my LAN speed is brilliant.

Anyone know what could be causing this?

It could be many things, but you first need to see if it's your site or the phone.

Test your phone on my site to see if the same thing happens.

I tested my phone by playing some random songs from your vast collection!

Apart from it stopping to download the next part of the song a few times it seemed to work ok.

If everything looks good on my site, then you probably have files that have issues. Run a music scan utility ti see if it can clean up your files. I think ther's one called Tagscanner and a few others that can find and fix problem music files.
