Why would you wanna do that?

And it doesn't sound like an easy task for some-one who's not a java programmer... Only HTML won't be enough as far as I know...

I know it's possible to write another fontend without frames using PHP... But that would require a PHP enabled server ofcourse...

I just want to optimize the ui a bit further and i don't want to go on with frames - also i thought it would be nice to have a mobile skin.

anyway - if i have to write java or php code i will drop my plan.

I think you can't remove all frames without Java knowledge...you really should know what you're doing if you want to accomplish an improvement of the layout.

Yyeah you can. I did it for subtunes. See http://code.google.com/p/subtunes/wiki/GettingStarted and the source code. This is all javascript, css and HTML. No Java PHP or other server side languages.
