Media Directory Drop-Down Selection - Change the Default?

I have multiple directories added in my Subsonic install. As everyone knows, you can select which directory to view in Subsonic by selecting the appropriate directory from the drop down box at the top left of the menu page. Is there a way to set the default selection of this drop down box? Or even better, can I remove the "All Directories" option? Thanks.
