Finally got my my own server to work
Found the problem was that I didnt have the curl extension enabled in my php install. I just followed the instructions from http://mesraonline.com/2011/04/19/how-to-enable-curl-extension-in-windows-server/ on my whs box and now rockin!!!!

Hi! This is a super mod but I do sometimes get some strange responses back!
I was playing some music by Vangelis and got this back as the artist -
"Βαγγέλης Περπινιάδης" and for the German band Can I get back "ラブCan"
Is this a MusicBrainz problem or something not set up right my end.
I have checked my tag info and the correct artist is shown in the playlist and now playing columns.
If any other users with this mod and those artists could report back if they get similar responses back I would be grateful.

However usually it is spot on and is great for expanding your music list

Can any other users of this mod confirm if it works in IE9?
I can get mine to work in chrome and FF5 np but nothing shows up in IE
I just want to confirm that I didnt break something.
Mind you this just confirms my opinion about that particular browser

@muiz pff m8 its only a partial working engine for registration.
When user create acc thay get notification mail with parameters thay use for acc (username, password) i get notification to, tables in mysql DB is ok and working but when acc need to bee registered on SS thats the part when all fails, so i need manually to create acc from infos in mysql DB and notify user about password i use.
Annoying but still working like i need to confirm acc

This widget uses the artist name to search in the MusicBrainz database. It ignores hits which have unknown types (that is, neither group, person, etc), because if it didn't the amount of false positives would be much higher. So, if you get a false positive, I encourage you to login to MusicBrainz database and add the band or the missing info.

Hm i test this mod on SS 4.5 same symptoms as in SS 4.4 ( need to hit refresh few times to get displayed status on right panel and list in playlist ) don't know why is this happened. I really like this mod, can someone help?

I get the same problem occasionally and also I lose the the ability to play music (nothing shows in the playlist frame).
Again a refresh (or two) usually cures the problem but I dont know which mod (if any) is causing it.
I think it must be something to do with the browser cache

Getting back to my problem with strange artists appearing for certain bands I was playing some music by Queen (Bohemian Rhapsody) and the artist that came up was "ちゃーみー♡くいーん".
For those that cannot speak Japanese I believe it is a band called Charmmy Queen. (I think the forum may have changed a couple of characters in posting)
Obviously if I just type Queen in the MusicBrainz search index I do get the correct band listed so I really do not know whats going on.
As I said before most of the time it is spot on even with some fairly obscure bands

Perhaps we could hold a competition to see who gets the weirdest results back.
