Thanks again, Sindre, for your hard work and dedication to make Subsonic such a great app!

A quick question: Is there a changelog so I can see exactly what new toys you've made for me to play with in this release?

Hello,

Thanks for the very good software!

I can´t install the newest 4.5 update. Fedora 15 says in the beginning of update process:
"Installing the local file failed".
More details says:
Can´t install /home/****/Desktop/subsonic-4.5.rpm as no transaction.

Latest beta installed without any problems.

*Edit*
I manage to update latest beta to latest stable with that:
"rpm -Uvh subsonic-4.5.rpm --oldpackage"

No need uninstall and all settings ok after update.

Updated from 4.5b2. Update went smoothly, only needed to renter Log on rights for the Subsonic service on Windows 2008 R2.

I notice that ffmpeg looks to be a recent verrsion, 7/28/11.

No problems found so far.

Thanks Sindre

I love running the WAR version in Tomcat now... stop the service, download the new WAR file, restart the service. Done.

I will have to remember to check the transcoding pack each time though, since that is not included with the WAR version...

Thanks, Sindre!

Sharing is a great feature. Will it be integrated into the android app? It would be perfect to be able to share directly from the app, but even better, to be able to open sunsonic shared links in the app rather than the browser. I also heard someone disliking the fact that their IP is visible in the browser address bar when they share something, but this is perhaps impossible to change? I must admit, having the address stay at *****.subsonic.org rather than http://MY_IP_HERE/index.view would be preferable at all times. For one thing, it would make it possible to bookmark the server, even with a dynamic IP.

Excellent admin panel for sharing, Sindre. This program never ceases to be solid. I'm donating again. :D

Interesting little minor bug... when I go to the "shared media" settings panel it displays fine, but the only other settings panels that I have at the top to choose from are
Code: Select all
Personal  |  Password  |  Players  |  Shared media

Once I click on any of the first three, that panel is displayed and I once again have the whole list of settings panels to choose from:
Code: Select all
Media folders  |  General  |  Advanced  |  Personal  |  Users  |  Players  |  Shared media  |  Network  |  Transcoding  |  Internet TV/radio  |  Podcast  |  Search

Probably just missing the check for admin rights when loading the "Shared Media" panel.

HTH,
