Shortcut link just refreshed random view

All my shortcuts work fine except 1 of them just refreshes the random view

in admin panel i have them listed as

_newly_added_titles _music_videos comedy Z_Audio_Books Z_Learn_Languages

they all appear in the shortcuts pane on the left side and all work by showing the contents of desired folder when selected to the right

the _newly_added_titles shortcut when this one is clicked it just refreshes the right frames normal random view?

i dont think its the underscore before the name as the _music_videos shortcut works

only thing i can think of because it used to work is the number of files in the folder the _music_videos folder has about 600 files in it they all work & show fine

but the _newly_added_titles used to work when it had less files but as im waiting to upgrade drive space it now has over 1000 files in it

could it be an issue with amount of files in the folder for shortcut to work?

I would try removing the underscores. Shortcuts of multiple words can just be put in quotes. Eg. "Music Videos"

I don't have any folders or shortcuts using underscores and all works well.

Also keep in mind that most OS's limit filenam lenght to a total of 255 characters, which sounds like a lot until you dig a little deeper and find that a file is named C:\Users\Dad\Music\Mitch's CD Music\Alanis Morissette\Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie and then start adding whatever elaborate schemes many use.

just added a shortcut _Just_Added folder and a _newly_added_titles_but_not_new shortcut folder

and moved the 2011 titles to _Just_Added folder

then moved the rest to _newly_added_titles_but_not_new

and it works fine for whatever reason it wasnt seeing the _newly_added_titles folder so i just deleted it

had to change a bunch of playlists but it all works the way i want now

so underscores werent the issue i just name them that so they appear 1st when browsing the drive instead of having to locate the new stuff and navigating 8000 folders since the main drive music folders and only 2 are video for that hard drive so they stay at the top

it's doing it again

after its scheduled scan

the shortcut now named _just_added no longer shows in the recently added view like it once did

and when i click on the _just_added shortcut it just refreshes the main view to the random albums (which i changed from default to recently added) so it really refreshes the recently added

but the _newly_added_titles_but_not_new shortcut shows in recently added view and when clicking on _newly_added_titles_but_not_new shortcut it shows correct listing in left view

it can't be the underscores since all my shortcuts have them and only the one i want to work is the only one that never works or stops working (murphys law lol)

it cant be amount of files as i thought it was because i only removed less than 100 files when i separated the newly added folders

not really an issue since i just put a shortcut link to the main view that points to the folder id link from the drop down just added shortcut left.view?musicFolderId=6 so theirs a link next to all the albums that takes them there

The only reason I do this is at times it can take a while for left view to populate and want users to be able to get right to newly added video titles if it does

again not an issue just lettin the issue be know to someone who is well more versed at this stuff than I.
