Java error?

Postby Hjord » Thu Aug 25, 2011 1:54 pm

I get this on the left, where my folders should have been listed.

Error
Subsonic encountered an internal error. You can report this error in the Subsonic Forum. Please include the information below.

Exception java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
Message Java heap space
Java version Sun Microsystems Inc. 1.6.0_22
Operating system Windows 7 6.1
Server jetty-6.1.x
Memory Used 91 of 96 MB
Stack trace java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

I'm using
Version 4.5 (build 2385) – 11. august 2011
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_22, Windows 7 (69,4 MB / 96,7 MB)

I get the same error on OSX

But everything else seems to work just fine.

Increase the amount of memory allocated to Subsonic using the Subsonic System Tray helper application. Set it to a higher number (I use 400mb), save it, then stop and restart the Subsonic Service.

I think you must have it set to 100MB, not 1000MB, as evidenced by this line:

Code: Select all
Memory   Used 91 of 96 MB

Like I said, I use 400mb. By my sig, you can see the size of my collection. How does it compare to yours?

It was on 1000.
But i reentered 1000 and hit save, but did not have permissions, i fixed that and got it saved and restarted.
But i still get the same error.
