Cant get Port Forward to work???.......

Postby santos1382 » Fri Sep 23, 2011 11:06 pm

I just recently updated to 4.5 & now when i go to Sub from work it wont let me connect. I have no idea what could have changed since before the update all was good. Has anyone had this problem? All my settings for my router are exactly the same. My Sub Control Panel Settings are all the same also. Any ideas????

Problem Description: (When i try to access Sub from work or any other location it will not allow me to access, says IE cant display webpage)
Troubleshooting Steps: (The only steps i have taken are check the Sub Control Panel to make sure nothing has changed & opened up my router & checked that the Port Forward was still the same & both were)
Playback Application and version: (I usually use Winamp to play back anything from Sub)
Subsonic Version: (4.5 (build 2385) – August 11, 2011)
Server Version: (jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_26, Windows 7 (61.8 MB / 96.7 MB))
Hardware Platform: (Windows 7)
Java Memory Limit: (Memory used 41 MB Memory Limit 100 MB)
Problem Filename: (If you are having difficulty with a particular file, please include it's name)
Output from ffmpeg -i: (If you open a command prompt and type 'ffmpeg -i <filename>' what is the output? Ideally put this in a "code" block)
Last ten log file lines: (The last ten or so lines copied and pasted from the About screen in the Subsonic Web Interface. Ideally these will be in a CODE block as well.)

Code: Select all

Can you access SS from another pc from within your own lan?
Check with canyouseeme.org that your port, which appears to 8081, is open
Also worth checking that SS is still allowed through your firewall (try turning off firewall and test)
