I believe that happened when I clicked on one of these Settings/General/Personal.

EDIT: It happens when I click Settings > General. The content of the frame shows the error message instead of the general options.

I know many may not care about my remark but I'll state it anyway. First off Subsonic is a great music software but is extremely poor in the video department. Don't get me wrong I do believe it has potential but simply needs too much work to be anywhere near ready for primetime. For one Flash is going into a dying phase as html5 with mp4 H.264 is slowly taking over. The jwplayer needs to be seasoned more and subsonic needs better support in handling streams for different formats. The transcoder simply sucks and isn't a good alternative for handling different formats. Since lots of development and testing need to be made I was forced to find an alternative to subsonic for video. I found XBMC, although its mainly a media center software it has the ability to stream from an FTP server and supports a vast amount of formats and plays them well without the use of a transcoder. I have no regrets in donating to subsonic as I will still be using it for music and when the video side is ready I may even make an additional donation as a thank you fixing the issues right but until then XBMC is where I'll stay for video.

It will play fine for about 30 minutes then it becomes jerky and unstable. I'm running 720p movies and used the native supported format which is FLV H.264. I'm running HD entirely. So no it isn't ready. Heck I use the HD H.264 for DVD because I get a much sharper output, both are using 4500kbps. Part of the issue is the Author needs to improve how the software streams and support more formats natively and the other side jwplayer shows promise but still needs work, such as better browser support and clean up performance bugs in browsers that it does work in. Anyway I already made my decision so no one is going to change my mind unless the software is improved.

Nobody cares about changing your mind. Who the hell are you anyways? Weather you use it for video or not has absolutely no impact on the development of this project. Don't like it? Don't use it.
