New Music/Artists aren't showing up

weird thing. In the past when I'd dump a new artist to subsonic it was available immediately. I could browse straight to the new folders and everything- couldn't search for it, because the search hadn't re-indexed yet.

now, new things I add aren't showing up in the list, but I can browse for it.
I think you can see here what I'm talking about. I just ripped 3 CDs by Tim Barry and added them. They show up in the Search, but not in the list on the left. Weird, right?

I have found that in order to see brand new artists I need to refresh the artist list.

Since I use chrome it is easy... I right click in a blank area of the left pane and click "Reload Frame."

Or change libraries and then change back... so in my case, I have "Video" and "Music." If I add a new artist to my music folder I can toggle to Video and then back to Music and the left pane is reloaded.

thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately that didn't do it. It's like this everywhere. It's on my new Win7 machine, my android and my old work PC (also win7).

I wonder if something got F'd when I upgraded to the newest version on my UnRaid Server. actually...I bet that's it....
