Android player won't play the whole song.

Hey folks. I seem to have a problem with the Android client. I have emailed the dev, but nothing back... When using the Android app, songs only play part way through. It seems to happen at different time in songs. I believe it is based on the size of the song. Perhaps a ram/cache problem on android. The player will just stop, and move to next song part way through. I can browse to the file in the cache, and play fine with built in music app, so I know the file isn't bad. It should also be noted, that there are no similar playback issues from web interface. Ideas?

If you are running anything lower than version 4.6 beta 2 this is a known issue that has been fixed in 4.6 beta 2.

Here is some log info.. operation not permitted error from ffmpeg...?

Songs are indeed being cut off during encoding. If I use file explorer on android device to navigate to subsonic cache, and play file from there, they are indeed incomplete file.

exact same problem here with subsonic 4.6 final

every song stops after a fixed duration, which is different for each song

I found a workaround: switch your android player from "external player" to "web player" in webinterface (settings -> player).
At least that works for me.

keep in mind, that you have to remove the cached files, because they aren't automatically redownloaded

Finally it works!!! Tried it, and yes you must clear the cache.
