1] ability to create / add to playlist while listening to a song.

2] a progress bar to advance the song (drag bar to FF or Rewind)

#1 Is would be nice and has been suggested see this post

#2 Would also be nice, but I haven't seen this done with a audio streaming service, only video.

Sindre has mentioned looking into switching to jwplayer, which would have an option for this. Alternatively, you can look at hacking it in, without too much work, just swap out the flash player in WEB-INF/jsp/webPlayer.jsp and you can configure it according to your needs easily.

I have . it is use with the Vibe streamer.

#2: This is also possible in Subsonic. See online help for Settings > Players > Playlist is managed by player

Yes, #2. Note that there is no slider or progress bar in Subsonic itself, but the external player (Winamp etc) will have it.

FF/RW in web player? You can hack in jw player. It lets you FF/RW through the portion of the song that is already loaded.
