Can't connect to my server (mac user)

I am on mac osx snow leopard. I updated to 4.5 and suddenly could not connect. I downgraded back to 4.4 and still the same thing.
My server is showing error: [11/26/11 4:59:20 PM EST] WARN UserDao Unknown role: '11'

and I can no longer connect from iSub on iPhone 4. I get Error code 1: Connection Failure. I deleted the app and reinstalled and am getting the same thing. I have had this running fine for a very long time so I know my port setting and memory settings have been correct. Just in case I changed the port from 4040 to 8000.

A web browser seems to resolve the ip and then opens the subsonic home page.

Any ideas? I don't know what to do.

I would suggest you check your port no's

Your subsonic.org address is pointing to http://71.56.52.210:8081/

thanks - yes, i changed it to 8081- which appears to resolve, but I am still getting the same error on the server and request timed out from iSub. Other services on my Mac that rely on port forwarding are working fine. I think there is a problem with Subsonic but can't figure it out. All was fine for months until I upgraded to 4.5. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and checked all the setting. Not sure what else to do.

all is good now - had a strange firewall problem which is fixed, updated to 4.5 and error is gone - thanks
