Thank you!

You can do this by yourself if you are familiar with a terminal program like putty:
(thanks to califrag "Subsonic Web UI Cleanup\Overhaul")
Download from the Subsonic website "WAR version (all platforms)"
Stop Subsonic
Delete the jetty/#### folder or (preferably) back it up to another location.
Delete the old subsonic.war file or (preferably) back it up to another location.
Copy the new subsonic.war file
Restart Subsonic

If you have any issues, you can downgrade back by following these steps:
Stop Subsonic
Delete the jetty/#### folder
Delete the new subsonic.war
Copy your backup subsonic.war
Restart Subsonic.
Subsonic 4.7 (build 3105) running on QNAP TS-239 Pro II (Intel Atom 1.8GHz Single-core ; 1GB RAM)

Thank you so much for the walk through. I'll give it a go and post any issues I have for other QNAP owners.

Worked perfectly. Only slight gochta is that upon re-enabling the qpkg the version still indicates that 4.5 is running when infarct from the subsonic about screen it is actually 4.6.

thank you again.
