which I believe is your old external IP address.

This indicates that Subsonic still associates the old ip with the gmd name and the request to update is not getting through because the Network service hasn't flushed the old address.

Right got rid of the 501 error unpnp and manual port forward causing the port mapping error turne doff unpnp and remained with manual port forward on 8080 but still getting the timout exception and cant connect?

Right been fighting with this for weeks cant seem to get to the bottom of it can get there on localhost from pc but cant access from anywhere else timeout exception etc cant even access on pc with ip?
AudioGalaxy for me from here on in shame as i donated and very much liked ss till it stopped working.
if anyone does have any ideas i look back occasionaly and could i get it working could be convinced to use ss again.

still cant connect even though log reports port 80 succesfully forwarded! back to defaults hence port 80 and it used to work on port 80

UNcheck the UPnP box, stop and restart Subsonic service, re-enter the Networking tab and click Save. This should stop SS from running the UPnP check and send the redirect server your latest IP (which you've apparently had 5 in the past two days!)

Did all this again but still the timout exception!! included error and latest log ? I do know of the ip changes which are due to rebooting the router.

Right have removed some client connect software and can now access the server with ip but can not renew friendly address timeout exception on network settings.
From android device getting trial period is over? but donated last year only went wrong after installing the client software that i have now removed.
any advice would be greatly received.

Have you checked with canyoueeme.org that your port is open on the router?
and why is your IP changing when you reboot router? Your server should be on a static IP and its unlikely that your ISP will change your external IP that often.
