Thanks for this greeat mod.

Is it possible to change the search fuction, if you click on the similar artists?
Example: I play a song from "Albert King". Similar artists suggests "Albert Collins". If I click on "Albert Collins" I get listed all songs and albums with "Albert" and "Collins" in artist name and song title, i.e. "Judy Collins", "Albert goes West" by Nick Cave and so on.
Clicking on a similar artist should only produce results that match the whole string and only search for artists. If I fill the search field of subsonic it searchs for the whole string and does not list search results for partial items.

Only if you surround the search criteria in quotes - if you don't you will get partial searches.
That is another un-documented feature of SS which I discovered some time ago - useful to get partly around the 25 item search limit eg remove unwanted items.
If I search for "King Crimson" I will only get them and no B B King, Crimson Sky, etc cluttering up the results.

Yes, but this is usual behaviour. I am so accustomed to do this, that I did not mention it.

The problem: I don't know wether and if possible where I can change the code in some place of the widget mod to change this behaviour.

I can't get this to work. I installed in according to the instructions, but it doesn't show up in Subsonic.

Can anyone help me?

The Server is running W7 64bit
The Client is running W7 64bit - tried IE9,FF9, Chrome something.

No errors as far as I can see. Nothing seems to have happend.

Edit:
After refreshing a bunch of times it appeared. Seems like the javascript is a bit unstable. Perhaps it times out or something?

Could any other users of this great mod confirm that it has recently (yesterday) stopped working?
I assume that it may be due to problems at the Last FM end as another script I use, in MM, also stopped working briefly yesterday and that accesses Last FM as well.
When going directly to the Last FM page I received a very strange page just showing the word ERROR which I think was generated by their database engine
and they now request a change in password whilst they sort out "security issues"
So it looks like they got hacked
However I can see from my sig that the scrobble side appears to working np.

I don't use Subsonic anymore so I don't know if it works or not, but the server component is at least still functioning, and it should be responsible to doing all the Last.fm and MusicBrainz communication. If you have setup your own server (the PHP part), could that be down?

I am going to put that down to a temporary "glitch" with the Last FM end - I changed the url to point to your server
It worked
Changed back to point to my own server - it works
