I had subsonic 4.5 (I believe) running on a Vista Business 64-bit machine with no issues. I recently migrated my subsonic server over to a WIndows 7 Ultimate 64b-bit machine. The new server is running subsonic 4.6 and uses port 8080 rather that the default 80.
Now when I stream mp3s using flash in a browser, they frequently do not buffer properly. A new track will play before any noticeable amount of the track has buffered. Then the track will pause after 3 to 5 seconds. After another few seconds the track will start buffering and the song will continue. This doesn't happen all the time, but it is pretty frequent.
Is there any way to get the web-browser based player to pre-buffer the next track like the Subsonic for Android app does?
Does anyone know of how to get the web-browser player to wait until enough of a track has been buffered before starting to play?
Other thoughts?
