How does one register Subsonic server [Resolved]

How do I go about registering the subsonic server?
I have made a donation, but what happens now?
I have no reply or instructions...

Payment was made 9th January, Paypal confirm funds transfer.
I have no message at all from Subsonic people.

How do I go about registering Subsonic, so that it works again?

Help.

You were supposed to receive an email with your registration credentials. If you donated very recently, give it some time.

I got the email, i went into subsonic, on the donate page, i entered my email and the key, it shows the successfull registration message; but externally, i still can't access it.

The page I still see is "Trial period expired".

What would cause this to happen? How do we refresh the server, does it have to be completely restarted?

Try a restart. That would be my first line of defense.

I tried accessing the server via SonicAir (app on PlayBook), and it was able to successfully connect. I then tried to access it via my browser where it was previously not working, and it started suddenly working.

Not sure if connecting via the app kicked something into gear, or it just took a good few hours for the server to be valid.

I did not restart subsonic (didn't do anything at all, actually).

It's been over 2 weeks now, and still no registration.

What do I do now?

That is definitely a problem. Try emailing Sindre. I know he's developing an automated system to deal with this kind of issue, but he responds to his emails very very quickly.

I cant find anything in the FAQ as to where to type it.

I found it!

In the SubSonic Web Interface, just under the 'logout' option in the Top Right is a Luv-Heart symbol.
Click on the word 'Donate' near this symbol.

That will take you to a page, scroll down to the very bottom.

There you will see two entry boxes, one for your email address, and the other for the code provided by Sindre.

Enter these, and Bingo! Bob's yer mums brother!
SubSonic is finally registered.


I'm just posting this so maybe it can serve as a kind of FAQ for others in the future who may be as confused as I was as to what the process is for registering is.
