Adding FLV files to Playlist

Postby drifter » Mon Jan 23, 2012 8:17 pm

I am able to play flv files one by one, but can't add them to the playlist. Is there a workaround for this?.

The only workaround is to use the sharing option for now. JW player lets you add videos to its playlist, but the subsonic playlist does not work with videos yet.

Are you talking about Settings>Shared media option. But I got only Save and Cancel buttons available in that tab.

How could I define or use the sharing option?.

If you have sharing permissions, you should see a link as well as a facebook icon, twitter icon, and a google+ icon at the top of every album.

If you display a folder with more then 1 video then put a tick in boxes next to the vids you want to share
Then scroll down and in the more actions box - select Selected Songs (sic) - Share

Thanks for clarifying that, ytechie and BKKKPewsey.

I tried the "External player with playlist " option with some success. I am able to play the flv files successfully with VLC. But I would like to use the same with Winamp. Winamp accepts the .mp3 files/playlist but not the FLV files.

Is there any winamp specific setting?
