Well, this sucks! Since you host that file at dropbox, now my work blocks that site as a online file storage. I can no longer update. If you have the whole app in one package, that would be awesome, since I can tunnel out, but the installer doesn't.

I just see something strange, when docked to bottom, if I click on the subwiji button, and select one of the 3 icons it looks likes they are reverted in the wrong side. Try it you'll see ...

Yes I am aware of this bug and its in the list to fix at some point

Another one about the docked to bottom option. If i quit and restart the bar is really close to the windows bar, but if I open the option panel and save (without changing anything) then the bar move a little bit to the top, it's about 2 or 3 pixels.

Ah I have added this to the list to check the code which sets the position, thanks for letting me know.

finally,I 'found something on the mixer panel, why did all the tabs have a Refresh icon ?

The refresh icons are there because they refresh the current page on the current tab, they do function , for example if you are adding albums to subsonic and have previously loaded the album tab Recently Added the refresh button will reload the page and show the changes.

... One another stuff, You should consider replacing the mixer icon with one that can be easier to understand.

The changing of the Album Mixer icon is also in the list and will be changed at some point.

That does suck, it is a shame that they block access to dropbox
Is there any way you can talk to you Network Admin and get it unblocked?

I do not want to build a separate file because SubWiji is still under heavy development and if I build exe packages then these versions will not auto update and also the versions will become fragmented.

If you close SubWiji and open it using the shortcut does it enable the update that way?

Nah, I will just leave it as is. It works fine without updating. If I want to update it, I will just update it at home.

Having a quick look on the web the ClickOnce files are installed into C:\Documents and Settings\userprofile\Local Settings\Apps if you can get the files from your home pc in the installation and overwrite the ones at work it may update it.
Do take a backup of the work files first however as I have not tested this.

Thanks for the info, I've been playing about tonight and trying some HTTPS connection changes.
If someone could test in with their HTTPS server that would be great, I have setup a test localhost HTTPS server but its not quite the same as a full blown over the net test.
SubWiji detects wether to use HTTPS by looking at the url so if it begins with HTTPS then it will try and use HTTPS if it is just HTTP (or neither provided - just plain url) then it will not try HTTPS.

I did some testing with a number of connection variations for SubWiji. Here are the results I got (Keep in mind I am using a Https Subsonic server and version 0.1.0.70 of your software)

Connection attempts on LAN:
http://name.subsonic.org - receive error: subsonic connection failed, please change your settings and try (unable to connect to remote server) - I'm guessing this is happening because the subsonic subdomain is simply a dynamic redirect to either the private or public IP. Therefore, because it may be trying to authenticate credentials on a redirect page then it would kick back an error like this.
https://10.8.x.x - (LAN server address) works fine and loads data

Connection attempts over internet:
https://publicipaddress - works and loads data from server
http://name.subsonic.org - connects but will not load data from server

Hi thanks for the info, just so you know SubWiji will only try to use https if https is at the start of the url, even with a subsonic url. If you could try the versions which did not work but put https in front to see what happens?

Hi,
I have just pushed an update which includes some changes and fixes to the way in which it detects the server from the url provided (v 0.1.0.73).
If you start the URL with https it will then use https "mode" and try to use that from there (even with the subsonic.org url).
I hope it works well, have a look and let me know how you get on, if you have any other problems or questions feel free to PM me.

Yes I got your crash, where you changing windows audio settings at the time? Installing drivers or updates to windows?
The reason I ask is because the crash said A device attached to the system is not functioning., I have experienced this when trying to change Audio Device settings before.

As for you request this is in the list already

Actually Idon't change anything related to the audio settings. The computer is doing nothing except Subwiji and Chrome. The problem didn't appear while browsing for other artists.

If I browse for that artist "Blank and jones" it appears. And if I search for that artist i see the 5 albums but when clicking on them it display the album but there is no music inside.

PS : I like the new mixer icon. Clear ... and beautiful.

Ah this error seems strange, can you see the items in the Subsonic Web UI?
If you can PM me a login to your server I will have a look tonight and see if I can fix the issue.
