Is it possible for carousel to display newest instead of random albums?

I try to mod it manually, but nothing happens (nothing is even messed up in any way )..

If you change in drop down many number of albums to be displayed on for example random tab, carousel window will also be affected.

Ok now I getting pissed off... my server (in general) is messing with everything I do since yesterday.. now everythign is fine again... but now this carousel won't work at all??
Nothing happens if I replace the files??

what Version do you have installed latest SS 4.6 ?

try this steps to complete:

1. stop server
2. Backup complete SS folder
3. clear your Internet browsers cache AND cookies
4. clear (delete) subsonics internal cache (the jetty cache is at subsonic/jetty/<num>/jsp/org/apache/jsp/WEB_002dINF
5. edit/replace servers files to be modded
6. restart server
7. restart browser
