Download Speed..

Hello, I'm running Tomcat 5.5 and subsonic 4.6 (build 2583) – December 6, 2011

Problem...

When I am outside of my LAN area, and I try to download a file, I am limited to just under 200kb\second per download.
If I download two files, I get a total of about 400 kb/sec
If I download 10 files, I get about 2000kb/sec total.
So my Internet upload speed is not the problem, I have a 25mbit out speed.

If I am connected to my LAN, I get speeds of about 2.5 mb\sec.

What do I need to do to increase the per download upload speed ?

*I just increased the initial memory pool from a blank, to 1000mb
Now it reads "Apache Tomcat/5.5.34, java 1.6.0_31, Windows 7 (291.6 MB / 966.8 MB)"
I wonder if that did the trick..*

Were you ever able to fix this? I am having the same problem with low upload speeds despite a 35mbit/s connection. I haven't tried downloading multiple files at once though.

No, I haven't, I believe I read somewhere once that there was a limitation in the Java applet or something in that order.
