- Ability to cache songs individually (swipe option or tap/hold)
- "Downloads" section of cached items to have the same Artist/Album structure
- Ability to set the bitrate
- Creating playlists
One other thing I noticed is it appears (I say appears because I may be wrong) to load the list of artists from the server again every time it launches. Maybe implement a pulldown to refresh and keep the list cache from first launch/last refresh (could speed up the already fast launching)
But good work, seems like a promising app. I will try to use it as much as I can and give you feedback.

Will there be an upgrade to Sonic stream to allow this?

I replaced by freenas.7.x server with Subsonic(4.6) installed on it to Nas4free 9.x with Subsonic(4.6).
Nas4free is the freenas .7 upgrade track that allows Subsonic installation.
I am getting an API error message when I try to brows the folders.
I can use Z-Subsonic and ISub without any problems.
I like the Downloads folder in Sonic Stream.
