Thank you, but when I download setup.exe and install SubWiji, I always get .126 instead of .127.

Btw, what's the best way to do an update?

I found a problem with SubWiji:

I start is and it is using 37MB of memory. Then I use the X to close it and it starts to grab more and more RAM up to 1.6GB until it finally closes.

I use it on Win7 SP1 Enterprise english on a 8-Core Xeon machine with 12GB of RAM.

Hi,
Do you have a default My Music folder set?
Where you playing a song at the time?
Did you have a playlist open and not saved?
Did it show the Do you wish to save playlist dialog?
Could you try doing this with "Cache Cover Art" turned off in the settings

Thanks

Paul

Hi,
SubWiji will check for an update every 1/2hour automatically (if open), but the best way to guarantee an update is to close SubWiji and re-open, when it opens it does a check for the latest version straight away :)

Also if you go to http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2432141/Subwiji ... ubWiji.htm and click install it will install over the top the new version and keep your settings.

Thanks

Paul

* No, I just started it and closed it right away

Did you have a playlist open and not saved?
* No, I just started it and closed it right away

Did it show the Do you wish to save playlist dialog?

Its a default in Windows, if you can see Documents > My Music then its there. If the Cover Art flag doesnt help then it is not relating to the My Music folder.

Have you setup your server correctly?

Can you see the album mixer covers? (click the Music Mixer icon).

Thanks

I restarted SubWiji now several times, as well as I downloaded and ran the setup.exe several times too. But I'm still stuck with .126

I don't know if, beeing behind a proxy, might be the problem because the initial installation worked fine and I am able to play songs.

The My Music folder is there and I can see the covers in the Music Mixer.

I think that I setup my server correctly, as I can use it with the web interface and the subsonic gadged and the Andriod app.

If you go here...http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2432141/Subwiji ... ubWiji.htm does the version say 0.1.0.126, 0.1.0.127 or 0.1.0.128?
If it doesn't then there is something blocked by your proxy, please load that url in IE and click Install from there, I have forced another build to see if that helps also.

Cheers

Thanks for the info, I have just managed to re-create this issue so I will fix it and apply it to an update later.

Thanks for the info

Hi Hulmgulm,
I have fixed the memory leak issue but if you cannot get the latest version then you wont be able to test it :S
Have you got access to the download page behind your proxy?

Cheers

I had to switch to the third and last proxy know to me to get the latest update. It looks like the grabbing of memory is gone.

Thank you for fixing this so fast! :D

DGMayor wrote:Hey - I recently switched to this because for some reason SubAir decided to stop trying to connect to my server. Anyways, so far so good for the most part, but the main issue I'm having is if I pause the music, when I resume, it plays for a bit, but then goes quiet. Time still ticks through the end of the song length and the next will play, but it happens every single time I pause it.

I had almost the reverse issue with SubAir. I would pause it and depending on how long I paused it for (say 30 seconds), it would wait 30 seconds before it started playing again.

Hi DGMayor,
I have located the issue and it relates (at least from what I experience on my server) to a Connection timeout, if I pause the song for a long time (anything for over an hour) then the server seems to close the song stream...I am just testing some code to get around this.

How long do you pause your songs for in SubWiji before they have this issue?

Thanks
