Auto play?

i recently installed subsonic and for some reason the players wont autostart if i play a track in the playlist. also, and more importenly, the dont autostart the next track in the playlist.

I have the controll player automaticly option enabledbut is does not seem to help.

any ideas?

The automatically opening of an external player is a function of the browser and is controlled, where applicable, in the browser settings.
With chrome however that feature doesn't appear to work (well not for me )
Are you using external player or ext. player with playlist?

I am using the internal flash player in chrome and firefox (both dont work).

Try updating your flash plugin for the browsers.
What happens when you access the demo site?

in the demo the songs start automaticly (and skip to the next track).

You're probably best off reinstalling Subsonic. Make sure you uninstall/reinstall to latest Java 6 (but not ver 7). Because you are not seeing the same problem on the demo server, it's obviously something not installed properly on you server. In Windows, you'll also want to clear the C:\Subsonic directory as well. I'm not sure how you do complete removal on other OS's but it is posted within the forums several times. A quick search should locate the info for you if you're not on Windows.
