I have Subsonic running on Ubuntu Server 11.10. Everything works fine for a few days, then for reasons I have yet to discover I am unable to reach the login page. I have a registered subsonic web address so I have tried to login both on another computer via the internet as well as localy on the my subsonic server (neither work). My first though was that the subsonic service had crashed, but when I run sudo service subsonic status it says * subsonic is running. I am new to subsonic (and inexperienced with linux) so I don't even know where to begin troubleshooting.
BTW... restarting the subsonic service fixes the problem. I just don't view that as a solution to my problem. I want my subsonic server to be running when I want to use it.

How much memory have you allocated to subsonic (Java)?
Try increasing the memory allocation limit.
