Ok, I know there are similar posts on this issue but I think my problem is slightly different.
I have had Subsonic running in a virtual environment for some time now and it worked great. It is a Proxmox host running Subsonic in a Debian Lenny OpenVZ container. The Proxmox host was using kernel 2.6.18 (which it shares with the container, in this case Subsonic) until a few days ago when I upgraded it to 2.6.32... while subsonic was running (I was trying to get NFS to work in the OpenVZ container). I rebooted then I could not load the Subsonic page. I tried reinstalling Subsonic, upgrading Java and patching the Subsonic server, none of these worked. I read up on these forums and they said to rename your db directory. I did this and it seemed like Subsonic was working again. It worked for awhile but it got slower and slower and then I couldn't load the SS page and then eventually I started getting HTTP ERROR: 503 when I tried going to the page. I am not sure what is happening, some people have mentioned editing the playlist.jsp file, but I am not sure if that applies in my case. I would really appreciate some help, I never realized how much I use Subsonic and this downtime is killing me! Thank you!
