how to clean up album traces from before

Hi,
I host through a hard drive connected to a computer that stays on all the time. I've done some clean up of some folders containing music and I've checked and double checked and they are not on the hard drive anymore. But when I log into my subsonic server through the web interface from my work computer's browser, the list of folders on the left side includes some old folders that I had deleted, and it also includes an entry called recycler and what looks like system files? I went back to my external drive connected to the computer and made sure system files were hidden. How can I have it 'refresh' from the web interface to clean up and only show folders that currently are in that directory?

First thing to try is to delete the browser cache on the works computer.
It sounds to me if the browser is still showing outdated info.
I assume that on your home pc the display is correct?
