Problem Description: I get "network error occurred" when trying to connect from Subsonic client on my Android phone. The subsonic.org server I am trying to connect to is on a Windows XP machine.
Troubleshooting Steps: An iPhone running iSub connects to that server OK. Have doublechecked all spellings.
Playback Application and version: Standard Subsonic
Subsonic Version: 4.6 (build 2583) – December 6, 2011
Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_31, Windows XP (39.1 MB / 72.0 MB)

did you make sure that the server name was all lowercase? For some reason that matters to the android client...

Yes - server name is all lower case. User name has an upper case letter, but that should be OK, right?
