url masking with windows install??

Currently using a webhop redirect with dyndns to point my address to the port I have open for apache. Integrated SS with apache via mod_proxy. Everything is great, just when I check the option for url cloaking at dyndns, I can't play any music. When I click play, nothing happens. Currently have XAMPP setup for wordpress and a photo gallery, would it make more sense to install the standalone version of SS? Just want to be able to cover up the port number at end of address.
