Madsonic - Mashup Mod (old Support Thread)

Question: according to your screenshots, the player itself should look different, more buttons. I still have the "plain old player" I used to have from stock-subsonic.
The Player loaded is 5.9: swfobject.embedSWF("/subsonic/flash/jw-player-5.9.swf", "placeholder", "340", "24", "9.0.0", false, flashvars, params, attributes);
Does this depend on the used theme? Or anything else I could look into? Greetings, Gonzo

I had this problem too that some browser don't refresh the whole Page cache, so clear all your Browser cache & cookies.
Sometimes it helps whenn you right click your frame in your browser and select "Refresh this Frame".
i modifyed almost themes to work with the modifications, which Skin did you use?

ok, so this is theme based.

As I prefer dark colors (;-)) I use the theme "slick" as my personal favorite and also as site default. "Madsonic" has the missing other playercontrols

Thanks for working on this. I did have a bit of trouble with the player. Did not dawn on me until this morning that a problem I was experiencing might be theme related. I had a problem with the player controls not showing as indicated in your screenshot. but I was using the Slick theme.

I just reverted back to the original player controls for now...

but just wanted to Say thanks, this mod is rad \m/

- Is it possible to view "similar atists" in the right panel ?
- In the "play" view, is it possible to refresh the view at every song ? Random play don't refresh current played song display!!
- When I choose a folder in the left section, I see all subfolder in the left panel ... but the middle panel display ALL my library instead of just the content of the selected folder in the left ... Is it normal or not ??



If I choose -=ALTERNATIVE=- section in the left side ... ALL album are still displayed in the center frame, not just Alternative band/Album

try in general settings to insert this folders -> option shortcuts. this should help

I have few questions/comments about your mod:
* Is there possibility to add some notification system to chat? That would be very good feature
* Some themes (light colours) now playing texts are nearly unreadable in the right side because the text is yellow
* Are you planning release/add "2 minutes to midnight" theme?

You must rate some album before, then you should see the rated albums in the TOP100 section.

I tried to share a video and noticed that the video will not play. It just shows the cool visualations that appear when sharing music. Any way to share videos as well?
