Similar artist

Hello i would like to inform me if there is a way to view similar artist with the artist now playing but no from the last fm as i see the mod from the forum. I want to view similar artists from my songs that i have inside my subsonic. For example if i listen an album from the rock directory at the right frame show me other artists from this directory.

there are mods you can use:

similar artists Mod: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5836
Mashup-Mod include similar artists Mod: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9187

SS has no way of knowing who are similar artists to the one you are playing which is why you have to use an external service such as last FM.
If you use the similar artist mod viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5836 and click on one of the artist links it will search your media library and display albums & songs found if they exist.
