Default opening screen

My SubSonic v4.6 always opens to the VIDEO page while I'd rather have it open to the MUSIC page. How may I do this?

What's the video page?
Subsonic normally shows the last thing you were playing so if that was a video

What I mean to say is that no matter what I was listening to last, when SubSonic starts, always the left column pull-down (options: All Folders | Music | Videos) is set to Videos.
The main part of the screen DOES indeed show the last album played.

I would like to default to MUSIC in the left column always, if possible.

While I'm at it, if I can default the main part of the screen to (instead of the last thing I played) to instead always show the most recent additions (or random or whatever by choice) I'd like to!

PS When I change themes nothing seems to change! Hummm.

I thought the way to control order of the left column was based on the order of folder sources defined in the settings. I can't confirm this yet, but I thought it was.

As far as center area - this has been my big pet peeve for a long time. You can edit the files to show most recent albums by default when clicking on the icon in upper left, home button in top row, or with a general refresh of the page.

You have to edit three files (index, top, home). I've attached mine, which are from 4.6.

They are set to show 20 recent albums as the default view for home. I got this from previous threads discussing it.

It is but if you have more then 1 media folder defined the 1st entry in the drop down box is All Folders
This is the default selection for me when SS starts up so no idea why the OP is getting video as the default view

In my settings MUSIC is ahead of VIDEOS so it seems that is not what determines what shows on startup.

Remember we are now talking about the drop down folder selection box.
Check using db.view that the database entries are correct.

select * from music_folder

Alternative delete the media folders (hit save) and then re-add them in the order you want.
But the default view is All Folders which should be the first entry in the list (not shown in the database list above)
