Just remove the /gbuser in the config file... that should work...

No, still won't register users in subsonic.
It's late, 1 am and I'm going to bed, thanks for all your help today.
Last thing that needs fixing is the users registration is subsonic, might try and put my ip address in there temporarely and see how that works.
K, talk tomorrow.

I editted one of your earlier posts to remove the password from the REST URL that you posted.

I would definitely change your admin password, since you just posted it here for all to see (and I checked... it does work, so if you see a connection from a weird IP, that is me...)

Admin password changed.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS ............... I got it working, though I don't really know what I did to get it to work ......... I think I ran the queries wrong in the phpmyadmin in wamp. I didn't have to muck around with no-ip.com either. Just the one redirect is ok. I first coded my ip address in the domain fields in the login.jsp and in lib/config and got it to work after playing around with the queries and then put in the no-ip redirect into the domain fields and it works now. Also I'm not giving out the no-ip domain but rather the subsonic domain cause I don't want people to get to the wamp homepage by removing the port number, not that they could do anything, but ........ just no. So here's the url .... http://cooltunes.subsonic.org please feel free to sign up and play around.
One thing that I would ask Sparky is that is it possible to add a "limit quality" in the lib/config.php "set subsonic permisions" so that I won't have to manually limit users in subsonic. At the moment I'm limiting to 160kbps.
Thanks again for all you guy's help, this is great.

Nice, I've registered an acocunt and I see that everything works fine...

Setting max bitrate is not possible because this feature is not added to the API... I hope it will appear in a future update of Subsonic?

Is it possible to make the registration connect with Facebook Login?

That's not really a bad idea to add as an optional feature... I will look into it some time...

Edit: Or even as standalone mod...

When does this error accur? And have you checked if that *.dll file exists? Which version of PHP and Apache are you running?

The error is there after I install everything and run wamp. The .dll file is there. Using wamp 2.0c now on windows Vista ultimate, but had the same error in both win7 home premium and win7 ultimate. I had it running on win7 home premium and 2 days ago it stopped working and I just realized the error today and tried different versions of windows, but all have the same error.
