I love the app... I'm using it on Chrome (18.0.1025.168 m).

One problem I'm experiencing is that some music wont play - at all. It seems to be about 30-40% of my music.

Here's is one of the mp3s that wont play: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2396025/subsoni ... Common.mp3

I looked at the media file information using MediaInfo (http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en)... but couldn't find anything that looked alarming.

Additionally... the songs that wont play in MiniPlayer play fine in the web interface.

Any thoughts?

bbeaton wrote:Great UI! Very clean and natural to use. There seems to be a weird iOS incompatibility. Safari on the iPhone 4 (running iOS 5.0.1) works great, but Safari on the iPad (also running iOS 5.0.1) will not play audio. I wanted to see if anyone else had this experience. The UI on the iPad acts like it's going to play, and the play/pause toggle switches to 'play' mode, but there is no status update when checking the monitor page on the subsonic webapp.

Same with Safari and Dolphin HD on iPad (iOS 5.1.1). (https://server.address:443)

It overrides my "default" Player, so every time I click to play a song in Subsonic (not via MiniSub) it tries to download play.m3u

Can't use it any more because of this. :(

Go into the Subsonic interface and delete the "players" it creates.

Did that, but when I refreshed MiniSub it was created again.

This is probably because I was using MiniSub on the same computer I was using Subsonic interface.

Try changing the "Application Name" in the Settings page of MiniSub.

Hopefully within the next month I plan on getting the latest 4.7 beta and making sure MiniSub is compatible. I have quite a few submitted changes to implement on GitHub. Hopefully Chrome has fixed some of it's HTML5 Audio issues.

Just pushed an update with a bunch of changes in it. 4.7beta1 support looks good. Going to start working with Sidre to get it fully merged into Subsonic for 4.7beta2.

5/21/2012 - 1.9.8
Support for 4.7beta1 in preparation for next full release
Ability to download Playlist or Song
Playing a song from a Playlist or Album will add the rest of the songs to the Current Playlist
Clicking an album takes you to the album (helpful from a playlist)
Added ability to search Albums or Songs
Ability to create new Playlist from any selected songs
Change track position while playing (lost after switch to SM2)
Added song rating to Player

Trying to use Miniplayer on my google Chrome browser.

I have verified that my URL is proper, however the interface never displays any of my music. (URL is HTTPS)

This, of course, works fine when just browsing directly to my Subsonic install.

I enabled Debug in the config, but can't seem to find out where it logs to. Anyone have any ideas what might be wrong, or where I might find more data to help solve my problem?

ETA: Im running Subsonic 4.6 (build 2583) – December 6, 2011

I just saw, that you/minisub save the passwort in plaintext(!) in a cookie.
Can you please change that?

Regards
Lemy

ps.: thanks for this player, i really like it.

This is most likely caused by a self-signed certificate. Are you using the Chrome App or do you have the files in your local subsonic install?

You have done a remarkable job with MiniSub. I love it! :)

However there is one thing i'm missing: The ability to navigate backwards in a folder structure.
If i search for something and click on a folder/album there is no way i can go back to the search results again.

If you somehow could make room for a breadcrumb or a back-button i would really appreciate it.

Thanx! :)

Something may have been done in Chrome or Minisub to fix the HTML5 audio playback issues (stuttering, popping, choppiness). In the last week I've experienced no issues running the Minisub 2.0.1 Chrome app.

More info about my setup:

BOOM! Hopefully it is fixed! I was waiting for this one to fix itself, lol.

Yea, I looked at this a while ago. The way the API is structured it wasn't so easy. I'll have to have another look at it.
