Can't save Playlists (Resolved)

Postby vbrown119 » Mon May 28, 2012 8:47 pm

Hello:

I can't save playlists. When I try I get the following error:

"The playlist folder "c:\playlists" does not exist. Please change the settings."

I have tried creating the playlist file in multiple places on my computer and pointing subsonic to it in settings (making sure to save the new address), but I always receive the same error message.

I feel like I''m missing something rather simple, but I can't figure out what it is. I've been working on it off and on all morning to no avail. I've poked around the forums and the web, but haven't found anything on topic.

I running Windows 7.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

When you say "pointing subsonic to it in settings" I assume you mean in settings-general -playlist folder?
Try creating a playlist folder in your media folders rather then the root folder.

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.
