Couple of questions on subsonic 4.6

Postby rick-dallas » Wed May 30, 2012 10:21 pm

Relatively new user. Software works great, love the Android client. 2 questions though.

1. I've added an internet radio station and it works fine BUT how do you turn the radio station off???
2. Before using subsonic, I used Google Music (now Google Play). When picking the folder for my music files to use with Subsonic, is there a way to use a website link instead of a folder location on the hard drive? It would be nice to point subsonic to my Google music link as Google continously add songs that I like and would like to include them when using Subsonic. I realize I could just download those to my my local folder on my PC but looking for a better way. If not possible, maybe we could add that feature to the "New and Improved feature list" for future version of Subsonic???

Thanks

1 The famous stop radio question :P - create another radio station with the name STOP and give it an address of ~http://127.0.0.1~ minus the ~'s

2 You cannot not do that at the moment but you could request it over in the requests section.
But remember at the moment only users with a U.S. I.P. address  can access Google music
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, Image but some abuse the privilege!

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.

Thanks for the reply.

I figured I wasn't the 1st to ask about the radio and almost certainly won't be the last but guess I didn't spend enough time looking.... Also, thanks for the tip on future features.
