So I've scrobbled thousands of tracks from my android device up to this point with no issues. However, upon changing my password on Last.fm due to their recent security breach, Subsonic gives me "Failed to scrobble song '<song>' at Last.fm. Wrong username or password." When I click "Save" on the Personal tab of the settings after having entered my new password, it takes me back to the home page and ignores the credentials. No matter how many times I try to add my Last.fm credentials it just takes me back home and I continue to get the "Failed to scrobble song '<song>' at Last.fm. Wrong username or password." error, I have confirmed multiple times that both the UN and PW I am entering are correct, it just seems as though the settings aren't being saved. It's driving me crazy to not be scrobbling. What's the solution here? Am I the only one having this issue?
There are a number of things I would try to get the new password to stick.
Untick the scrobble box - save - and play a track - check in log that you are not contacting Last FM
Retick the scrobble box and then change the Last FM user name to anything as also the password. Should now get another (expected) failed scrobble (unless very lucky with guess )
Repeat item 1
Repeat 2 but now put in your username & new password
See if that works - no money back guarantee though

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.
Step 1: I untick the box for scrobbling and hit save. It appears the setting is changed as going back to the personal tab of setting the box remains unticked. However, upon playing a track, it is still trying to contact last.fm and of course the UN and PW are incorrect (because who even know what the hell it thinks my UN and PW are at this point).
So unfortunately this has not solved my issue. Is there a file where my last.fm credentials are being cached to that can be deleted or edited or something?
Box was still unticked. Stopped Subsonic service, went into the jetty cache and deleted it. Restarted Subsonic, logged in, without changing anything else I played a track and Subsonic still attempted to scrobble, still with the mystery credentials. Still no luck.
Take note (will need to scroll right) the last FM settings for the problem user Is Last_FM_Enabled showing true? Do not post the results here as your passwords etc are listed

Ahhhh, you have opened my eyes to the error in my ways. You see, I don't log in as admin from my android device, I have a separate user for that. So as admin I kept just changing the last.fm settings of admin, leaving my android user profiles settings unchanged, and therefor incorrect.
Sorry, this is a pretty glaring oversight on my part. Thanks for helping me out. I am once again scrobbling.
