Thanks. Can I suggest updating the OP with this somewhat critical information? 8)

Hi all,

I noticed consistent crashing while trying to rapidly scroll through my music library. From the attached stack trace, the problem appears to be related to the FastScroller. The device used is an HTC Evo 3D.

I can confirm the same thing happening on my end with an Epic 4G Touch.

I can't reproduce on my gnex. You need a new phone. :D

I'll look at it and see if I can figure something out.

I'm now running the 2012-05-24 build on the latest MIUI ROM on a Sprint Nexus S 4G.
Thanks for the work that has been done!

When you pause the music from the notification playback controls, are they supposed to disappear? When I pause the music the playback controls disappear.

Interesting, maybe the fast scroller is a Samsung/HTC problem. I just installed the latest build on my Asus Transformer (running close to stock ICS) and have no problems with crashing.

Still, I suspect there are many more HTC and Samsung users than Nexus users, so it is worth looking into.

He doesn't. I can scroll all the way to the bottom of my library, slow or fast, it doesn't matter. Once you actually hit the bottom of your library, it'll crash. Or rather gives you the subsonic has stopped working, message. Epic 4G Touch running CM9.

The new phone comment was a joke, supposed to be indicated with the smiley. I believe it happens to him, my point was I can't make it happen for me, so it's hard to figure out why it might be happening. Exactly what screen are you on when it happens? I tried on the music, playlists, and current playlist views and I can scroll top-bottom over and over without issue. Perhaps it's on a screen I haven't tried? I tried large and small lists...

I tried the abd way and it wouldn't write anything to the file, unless I was doing something wrong. Went with alogcat.

FYI: I can confirm the fast scrolling crash on a Samsung Nexus S 4G.
