Error with only one folder.

Postby nymusicman » Sat Jun 16, 2012 8:36 pm

I'm running Subsonic 4.7beta2 with Oracle Java 7u5 on Ubuntu 12.04. I've seen the post that says subsonic is incompatible with Java but I have an android phone and except for one folder in my library everything works.

I've increased the memory available to subsonic to 512 in case that was the problem. The name of the folder is CD's. I thought maybe the apostrophe was the problem but it's not a problem with other folders that have them. I'm not sure what else to do. Here is what java spit out inside subsonic

Subsonic encountered an internal error. You can report this error in the Subsonic Forum. Please include the information below.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, Image but some abuse the privilege!

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.

Yes I understand that post exists, but running oracle java 7 is the only way to get jukebox mode working. And literally everything else works except this folder. Isn't there another possible option other than just pointing back to a post that I've already said I've read.

I'm on Windows and Java 7 runs fine here on multiple servers. Try a reboot?

I've got 3 Windows sites running Java 7.4 without problems. When I did get a java error similar to what you've posted, I just rebooted the server and it cleared it up.
